From September 27th to 28th, 2012, under the invitation from African telecom union, Professor Song Jian, the general manager of DTVNEL, went to Accra, the Capital city in Ghana to attend the summit held by ATU, ITU and the Ministry of Communication in Ghana. This summit was sponsored by DTVNEL, Google, Harris Inc. Including experts, senior officials and engineers who came from  50 African countries along with the leaders of multinational enterprises in France, Britain and America attend the summit. The focus of this summit is discussing how to complete the migration from analog TV to digital TV and how to divide frequency spectrum policy from different aspects such as: standard, technology, economy and policy. At the summit, Professor Song Jian introduces the advantages of DTMB standard and its evolution DTMB-A standard, his speech received warm praise and positive response from the delegates of different countries.

During the summit, Professor Song Jiang was invited to attend a meeting with Minister of Communication in Sudan and the leaders of ATU. During the meeting, Professor Song had a friendly talk and exchanges with the delegates from Kenya, Cote d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and other African countries. Abdoulkarim Soumaila, the leader of ATU kindly invites Professor Song to attend the next African Digital Summit to show the latest DTV technology. After the meeting, the group led by Song Jiang visited the office of Huawei in Ghana and talked to the general manager of Huawei regarding the promotion and cooperation of DTMB standard in Africa.
