Recently, CRTV and Djibouti Radio and Television Corporation signed a "Memorandum for carrying out digital television cooperation in Djibouti" in Beijing. Abdi Houssein Ahmed，the minister of the Ministry of Culture, Communication，Posts and Telecommunications of the Republic of Djibouti，and about 15 representatives from radio and television industry of both China and Djibouti attended the signing ceremony.

The memorandum makes clear that CRTV will construct and operate Chinese DTMB standard digital TV broadcasting network across Djibouti, with the project cooperation period of twenty years. Followed by the successfully signing of the contract for pilot project and implemented soon in Comoros, DTMB is officially recognized and allowed to be promoted in the nationwide of Djibouti for the first time, marking that DTMB firstly enters into a whole Africa country as an international standard.
