From 19th to 21st March, 2013, DTVNEL(Beijing) and Cuban national communication research Institute held successfully ” First China-Cuba International Digital TV Havana Forum "in Cuba. Attendance at this event including a delegation from Chinese Digital TV alliance,some enterprises, universities and institutions; also a local delegation consisted of Cuban Information and Communications Ministry, Cuban Radio and Television Ministry, Cuban Higher Education Ministry.

This event attracted more than 100 visitors from Canady, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and other Latin American countries. The event is the most important part of Cuba international communications exhibition, as well as an effective promotion for 2 Chinese national standards “DTMB and AVS” in Cuba; which could accelerate the development of digital TV industry in all Latin American countries.
