BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd., founded in April 1993, is an IoT company providing intelligent interface products and professional services for information interaction and human health. BOE is the forerunner and leader of mainland China’s semiconductor display industry. Since 2003, BOE has successively put into construction the mainland China’s first Gen 5 TFT-LCD production line in Beijing, the first Gen 6 TFT-LCD production line in Heifei and the first Gen 8.5 production line in Beijing, putting an end to an era when no Chinese enterprises could manufacture LCD panels on their own and large size of LCD panels can’t be manufactured in mainland China, thus truly realized China’s localization of the full range of LCD panels. In 2017, China’s first as well as the world’s second Gen 6 flexible AMOLED production line constructed by BOE put into mass production, opening up a new era of flexible display. In December, the world’s highest of its kind— BOE Hefei Gen 10.5 TFT-LCD production line put into production, becoming a new milestone of the development of global display industry and marking China’s leading position in the global display industry.
