Digital TV National Engineering Laboratory (Beijing) was established in December 2009 approved by the national development and Reform Commission, one of the main tasks is the leading Chinese terrestrial digital TV transmission standard (DTMB) application to work overseas.

The national standard DTMB application overseas work with enterprises as the main body, digital TV National Engineering Laboratory (Beijing) on the premise of promotion of enterprise interests, coordination of government resources, industry chain technology product resources, to support enterprises. Therefore, digital TV National Engineering Laboratory (Beijing) has been set up and promote further improvement of GB overseas promotion support system, to promote the enterprises to the system support.
